2024 GRACI Research Grant Guidelines for Applicants and Grant Application
The GRACI foundation is pleased to announce that applications are open for the 2024 annual grant round. We
welcome applications from researchers residing in New Zealand (NZ) affiliated with a NZ research
organisation or healthcare provider, and who are involved in gynaecological cancer research.
Grants will be available to any researcher residing in NZ and affiliated with a NZ research organisation or
healthcare provider. Grants will be awarded to support New Zealand research in gynaecological cancer in
accordance with the documented goals of the GRACI foundation.
In 2024 there are 2 grant categories:
Open to any gynaecological cancer research in New Zealand.
Grant funding up to $80,000.00 available.
Within this category there are two Grants available:
Low-grade serous ovarian cancer grant – sponsored by Ovarian Cancer Foundation New Zealand.
A grant for up to $40,000.00 toward projects specifically investigating low-grade serous aetiology, prevention or treatment. Applications may include pilot/feasibility studies and new technology/methodology development. Grant Ref: OCFNZ/GRACI 2403

- To improve outcomes for New Zealand women with gynaecological cancer.
- To support infrastructure for clinical research into the treatment or prevention of gynaecological
cancer in New Zealand women. - To support New Zealand researchers in the field of gynaecological cancer.
- To promote the conduct of new research in the field of gynaecological cancer.
In 2024 there are 2 grant categories:
Open to any gynaecological cancer research in New Zealand.
Grant funding up to $80,000.00 available.
Within this category there are two Grants available:
- Any Gynaecological Cancer research Grant - $40,000.00 Graci Research Grant – Grant Ref: GRACI2401
- Any Ovarian Cancer research Grant - $40,000.00 sponsored by Ovarian Cancer Foundation New Zealand - Grant Ref: OCFNZ/GRACI2402

Awarding of grants:
- Applicants are able to apply for any of the grants available.
- All applications will be reviewed, assessed and scored by independent reviewers selected by GRACI.
- The final decision regarding the awarding of the Grants will lie with the Board of GRACI.

- Open: Wednesday 24th April 2024
- Close: Monday 10th June 2024 at 1700 hrs.
- Grants will be awarded and announced publicly on GRACI website by: Monday 9th October 2024
- Applications will be submitted electronically using the ‘2024 GRACI Research Grant Application
